Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Orgit, an event vendor marketplace operated by Erobridge (“Orgit”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), accessible at orgit.ng and related applications. Orgit connects people planning events (“Customers”) with independent event service providers (“Vendors”).
By creating an account, or by accessing or using Orgit, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. What Orgit is (and isn't)
Orgit is a technology platform and marketplace. We help Customers discover, compare, and contact Vendors, and we help Vendors present their services and receive enquiries. That is the role we play.
Orgit does not:
- provide event, catering, photography, or other vendor services itself;
- act as the agent, partner, employer, or representative of any Vendor or Customer;
- guarantee the availability, quality, safety, legality, or performance of any Vendor's services; or
- supervise or control the services Vendors provide.
Orgit is a neutral venue for Customers and Vendors to find and communicate with each other. Any engagement, agreement, or booking is directly between the Customer and the Vendor.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Orgit. Orgit is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts.
4. Your account
To use certain features you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
We may suspend or close an account where false information is provided, where the platform is misused or abused, or where we detect fraud or suspected fraudulent activity.
5. Bookings and the Customer–Vendor relationship
Any booking, quote, or agreement arranged through Orgit is a direct contract between the Customer and the Vendor. Orgit is not a party to that contract.
Orgit does not currently process payments. Any payment arrangement is made directly between the Customer and the Vendor, at their own risk and on terms they agree between themselves. Orgit is not responsible for non-performance, delays, cancellations, dissatisfaction, refunds, or any dispute arising between a Customer and a Vendor.
6. Vendor responsibilities
Vendors use Orgit as independent contractors, not as employees or agents of Orgit. Vendors are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings and pricing, for delivering their services, for complying with applicable laws, and for resolving any dispute with a Customer. Vendors agree to indemnify Orgit against claims arising from their services.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- provide false or misleading information;
- use Orgit for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- harass, abuse, or harm other users or Vendors;
- upload unlawful, infringing, or misleading content; or
- attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the platform.
We may enforce these Terms, including by suspending or ending access to Orgit.
8. Disputes between users
Because bookings are directly between Customers and Vendors, disputes are primarily theirs to resolve. Orgit provides a support and dispute channel and may, at its discretion, assist in resolving a dispute — but we are not obligated to do so and are not responsible for the outcome.
9. The platform is provided “as is”
Orgit is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that Vendors will be available, that listings will be accurate, that services will meet your expectations, or that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some features depend on third-party systems (internet providers, mobile networks, email and messaging services) that we do not control.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Orgit shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or business, emotional distress, or any loss arising from the acts or omissions of a Vendor or Customer, including service failure, cancellation, or delay.
Where Orgit is found liable, our total liability shall not exceed any fees we actually received from you in connection with the matter giving rise to the claim.
11. Intellectual property
The Orgit platform, including its content, branding, and software, belongs to Erobridge. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use Orgit for its intended purpose. Content you submit remains yours, but you grant us the licence needed to display and operate it on the platform.
12. Communications
By using Orgit, you agree that we may contact you by email, SMS, WhatsApp, or in-app notification for service-related messages. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time; service and security messages may still be sent where necessary.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access to Orgit for breach of these Terms, for legal or regulatory reasons, for fraud or risk concerns, or for legitimate operational reasons.
14. Data protection
We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023 (NDPA), as described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably. Unresolved disputes may be referred to arbitration in Nigeria in accordance with the Arbitration and Mediation Act, 2023.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know. Continued use of Orgit after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
